I play CS:GO on 128 tick servers and thus I suspect that I would need at least 128hz not to be at a disadvantage and thus 120hz is somewhat out of the picture. However, I wonder if it would be stupid or wise to use 128hz instead of 144hz in order to "match" the tick rate of the server? Would 128hz or 144hz be better for when playing on 128 tick servers?
Side Question: What vertical tweak can I use on a 128hz Refresh Rate? I've tried 1350 and 1497 which created some very noticeable horizontal lines on the display
128hz Refresh Rate CS:GO? 128hz Vertical Tweak?
Re: 128hz Refresh Rate CS:GO? 128hz Vertical Tweak?
Client-side FPS is interpolated, so it doesn't matter. So higher than 128FPS is fine. Even if you used 128Hz/128FPS, it would be out of sync anyway.

So would that mena that 144hz is superior to 128hz in CS:GO? I assume that if that was the case the difference wouldn't even me noticable or measurable.RealNC wrote:Client-side FPS is interpolated, so it doesn't matter. So higher than 128FPS is fine. Should I cap my framerate in CS:GO to get a stable frametime/input lag or let it run freely?

They are measurable. Higher Hz and higher FPS result in lower input latency. How noticeable it is, not sure. But there's no reason not to use 144Hz.senny22 wrote:So would that mena that 144hz is superior to 128hz in CS:GO? I prefer it capped to get more consistency. But that's up to you.Should I cap my framerate in CS:GO to get a stable frametime/input lag or let it run freely?
