XL2546 vs NEC FP2141SB-BK (CRT)

I have an old 22" NEC FP2141SB-BK that's been sitting in my garage. Is it worthwhile buying a DisplayPort to VGA adapter and using it over my XL2546 @ 240hz for competitive shooters (QL, CS:GO)? If so, any adapter recommendations?

I've tried a 180hz CRT and it was worse compared to my XL2540 (w/ blur reduction enabled) for motion clarity.

The only CRT I would bother with is one of those super rare/expensive Iiyama Vision Master ones that can do 270hz. Even then, I am not sure how it would stack up against the upcoming 360hz panels.
