Hello was wondering if gsync+vertical sync would still help in a medium high end pc (i7-9700k, 2070rtx, 240hz asus pg258)
Would having gsync off take out input lag or is it non significant?

Gsync does not depend on the speed of the PC. Whether it's a low-end or high-end PC, it will work the same way.
Disabling g-sync is only needed if you want higher FPS than the max Hz of your display.
