Separate area for niche lag issues including unexpected causes and/or electromagnetic interference (ECC = retransmits = lag). Interference (EMI, EMF) of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction latencies like a bad modem connection. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

Something to think about.
Why having PC working on double conversion UPS feels better when UPS is set 60hz instead of 50hz?

Hey guys,
I am having what I think is a power issue that causes stutters as well but not sure if it's EMI or just the power in my house causing the issue. When the stutters get bad I notice my lamp on my desk will flicker. Does this indicate that it's not EMI and probably just dirty power and maybe a UPS/electrician would fix it?
