It could of possibly been the board causing the bad DPC latency.

Either way as long as you are happy.

Hi,

AMD should not have noticeably higher latencies in games.
I am running a 5950X and have no problems so far.

I would recommend to fully wipe your SSD and do a fresh Win10 install and let Windows install all the drivers.
Check LatencyMon whether everything is ok. If I remember correctly I had an average measured interrupt to process latency of 5.x microseconds after fresh install. If everything is fine move on updating drivers. Check LatencyMon again. May be their is some
driver issue that you have.

Download "TimerBench 1.5" and check what it says under "QPC Mode".
I have disabled HPET -> My QPC Mode says 10.00Mhz and it improved my performance.

Also please check your power saving plan.

I hope you can solve your issue.
I would not recommend to do any other tweaks since from my experience they broke more than helped.
what is your GPU?
I have a Zotac 3080 Trinity OC

His image showed kernel latency, not DPC latency.

I have 2 systems:
OLD:
Xeon X3440@4GHz 1.39v
ASUS P7P55D
8+8Gb Samsung PC1600@2100CL12
GeForce GTX1070 8Gb Gigabyte Mini ITX (replaced by GTX 1060 6Gb Palit dual)
FSP 550-80GLN
Benq XL2410T Tn\1080p\120Hz 2011y.
OS: Windows 10 1909

and NEW:
Ryzen 5 [email protected] 1.37v Fixed
MSI X470 gaming pro
16+16Gb Ballistix Sport LT 3000CL15@3600Cl16
GeForce GTX1070 8Gb Gigabyte Mini ITX (same videcard)
Corsair RM750x
Acer Nitro VG270UPbmiipx [UM.HV0EE.P01] IPS\1440p\144Hz 2019y.
OS: Windows 10 1909

I play BF1 and COD: MW at the minimum settings, I feel that the input lag has increased on the new system. Despite the significantly increased FPS, it became harder for me to aim. On one of the YouTube channels, AMD and Intel processors were compared, the processor from AMD had a much larger input lag. (click)[/url] Tell me, is this true, or is it already fixed on zen2?
Input lag reduces as FPS increases. In the case of the video you linked, he took an old 2700X and compared it to a 9900K and as expected, the CPU with higher FPS got lower input lag. It has nothing to do with whether it's AMD or Intel nor does the video at any point imply that.

1) Are you running a clean install of windows (which is often required when you swap platforms)?
2) Set your RAM to XMP settings. Incorrectly overclocking RAM is far more detrimental to performance than any potential gains. Did you test performance with XMP on vs XMP off? There's a decent change you nuked performance as you could be forcing the motherboard to run extremely loose tertiary timings by forcing a high frequency.
3) Turn off the CPU overclock. It's a waste of time with ryzen. The in-built boost is likely better than whatever a 1st time AMD user can do.

FYI your title as clickbait AF. You are the only one on the internet that comes up when you search for ryzen input lag on 3000 series or later. Plenty of other CSGO pros can attest tot he performance of Ryzen.

Experiencing same as OP on two different PCs on ryzen.
PC 1 - 7-3800x, rtx2060, 32gb ram 2600, clean win 10
PC 2 - 5-5600x with 4.5ghz locked on all cores, rtx3080, 32gb ram, XMP off with manual 3600mhz cl16 tuning. Clean win 11 on ssd with csgo only. Powerplan doesnt matter - high perf or balanced - same shit.
Monitor same - 240hz oddysey g7. different resolutions, g-sync off\on, ULMB off\on - no matters.
Stable fps around 600+ in 1280x960, ultra-stable capped 236 (224 in csgo) with g-sync - no matters.
Reaction time - 180ms.
Internet - 1gbit/1gbit.
Friend of mine spectated on me and said that I have delay about 0.5-1s.
Looks like its true, because enemy walking thru my spray and peeking with insta headshots, I cant react even with AWP.
BTW, this is lvl2-3 faceit "talents", before ryzen I was almost at lvl6 and playing tournaments vs lvl10 with +kd. Now I cant get 15 frags on lvl 2.
Going to try intel.

If you've made bios adjustments please mention those too.

Yes, it's true. AMD systems have higher input lag, but it's situational and I would argue it's pointless area of discussion for majority of gamers. Do you want to play with an uncapped FPS and no VRR (this is required)? If yes, you will gain slight advantage of 1-7ms difference with Intel from what I've seen in a few videos where this was tested (Tech Yes City). The on average difference was very small difference in the range of around 2ms and 7ms being the worst situation. Other video show nearly no difference (GamersNexus).

The thing is, uncapped will also only take you so far, you still need to render more frames to lower the latency. Some games will average frames in the range of 300, 400, 500, etc. The lower your uncapped FPS, the smaller the advantage of latency gain, if any? How many games do you have that average 400 fps with acceptable visuals? Sure it's nice for very old games like Unreal/Quake, but most people don't care for this, outside eSports pros, CSGO, etc.

Most are going to prefer the smoother experience of VRR + BlurBuster G-Sync/FreeSync settings, I would think. Now, if you want to use VRR using the proper settings, AMD and Intel input lag will be exactly the same at 240hz. Once you cap the FPS, the edge is gone for Intel and is matched toe to toe with AMD in input lag. It comes back to the above statement, you need more frames rendered to gain the advantage of reduced hardware latency, which I believe comes from Intel's higher memory bandwidth. Once you cap your FPS to properly use VRR, that small advantage of hardware latency benefit is nullified. At least at 240hz it was in shown testing. Maybe the gap would be bigger with 390hz.

I mentioned all changes.
In first config with 2060 bios in stock.
In second config with 3080 tested in stock and then OC'ed CPU and RAM. No changes in game behavior, so I assumed that problem with platform, because before AMD I dont have any problems, and my config was 3 times cheaper (i5 8gen and 1050).

Have you purchased your new platform (Intel) yet? In my experience the default bios (X570) needed tweaks for better performance.

e.g.
AMD Cool&Quiet needs to be disabled
Global C-States Control needs to be disabled
SMT i prefer it disabled
I don't use CPPC, nor CPPC Preferred Cores

those are the starters.

I haven't used Intel since the 3800X came out. However I have not used any modern Intel system as I was on X58 systems since 2009 so I'm not familiar with modern Intel bios settings but I do believe both Intel & AMD need bios tweaks to minimize delay.
