Is it true Ryzen has higher input lag than Intel? Is there conclusive data to prove this?

Slightly lower than mine. Do you play cs:go and experience some weird stuff like inconsistent mouse movement and bad hitreg?

Here's what I get:
Image

I've got a ryzen 5 3600, tridentz dual channel ram sticks at 3200mhz @ 16,18,18,38,56
Running on X570 gaming x mobo and a 2060 super; I also disabled turbo and just locked the CPU speed at 4.1GHz, if that matters.

Kinda disappointed by these timings, but my system does feel more responsive than my previous computer (I built this one back in march).
My old system had an i5 4690k, 970gtx, z97 PC mate mobo, and I don't fully remember the ram timings or even mhz, I think the mhz was 1666mhz or so.

Yes, RAM affects mouse input a lot.
Stress tests generally don't seem to detect error correction which can lead to really bad mouse input. For starters I suggest ditching AIDA as the main "on paper" benchmark tool and using https://software.intel.com/content/www/ ... ecker.html instead.
What will change ? With the next test, can we see errors in memory that affect mouse input?

arguments for RAM latency nanoseconds being useless
- people in this thread dont feel it on their unoptimized setups
You understand that this is a vicious circle. ?

What is the point of offering memory testing with a test for servers, with avx instructions?
Maybe we will immediately show and say that it is intel.

Most people will not be able to understand why such a difference.

System specs? I can't get it nowhere near that on my Intel + b-die system.

must hurt to lag

For some reason I cannot download the Intel Latency tester.
