VG27BQ vs Y27gq-25, best input lag

I'm trying to get the fastest 1440p monitor available (input lag).

I'm looking at the vg27bq but am also looking at the new 1440p 240hz monitors.

But that got me thinking, do I need 2x the fps for 240hz to get good input lag? If that's the case I don't think a 240hz monitor would have a reduced input lag.

I have enough fps to have 2x the amount of fps for a 144hz but not a 240hz. Does anyone know what would be the best choice for the lowest input lag?
