Re: Reducing Input Delay with Nvidia Inspector
What's the DisableWriteCombining equivalent for AMD? So far Windows keeps installing an updated driver that breaks this registry setting and I can't stop it so I'm thinking about going with an AMD card, if there is some sort of available option to do this.
Re: Reducing Input Delay with Nvidia Inspector
Could you update the profiles it seems to be conflicting with driver 461 and just reverting the changes to default...

Do you have an updated version of the low latency riot v2? Because it's not working on the newest NVIDEA version. Which version should I use?
Re: Reducing Input Delay with Nvidia Inspector

Re: Reducing Input Delay with Nvidia Inspector
Nvidia removed some of the settings that we can change even using Nvidia inspector that is why you getting an error
what you need to try is go back to the default profile then try to apply the riot profile and see if there is any type of change if there is
it means it is applied but only gave an error because some settings don't exist anymore now you can export the settings into a new file so later you can just import without errors.
Re: Reducing Input Delay with Nvidia Inspector
even with error mouse feels even more snappier than prior to using riot profile.
edit
also once added missing reg entry DisableWriteCombining 1 rebooted played doom eternal and mouse felt off remove and snappy again

Re: Reducing Input Delay with Nvidia Inspector
This probably means all settings were applied except the once it didn't find that's why it gave the error that is a good thing
so the important settings that still exist are getting applied anyway.
I remember I saw in some forum that the disabled writing combing tweak is only for GTX cards or something like that also like any tweak you might experience different results from everyone else so test and decide for yourself if it is working or not.
Re: Reducing Input Delay with Nvidia Inspector
Any GPU that can use drivers below 457.30 can use the "dword". It's a matter of driver implementation. I can confirm this because I have the source code. All drivers after 457.30 to my immediate knowledge is deprecated along with many other settings.sherifmagdy32 wrote: ↑23 May 2022, 21:40This probably means all settings were applied except the once it didn't find that's why it gave the error that is a good thing
