Vg248qe fake 144hz? New monitor suggestions

Hi, I am just wondering if this type of monitor is using a fake 144hz refresh rate.

I’ve also read that early models of this may have frameskipping and do not support display scaling in nvidia settings. I actually have 2 older monitors that support display scaling that uses less input lag when I perform scaling on display than gpu.

I’m regretting buying this monitor years ago and was wondering if the newer monitors support display scaling.
