do you have a link to this? I thought this is Nvidia's own in house collab integrations with each respective game studios and their titles? no?

Again ask Razer_theFiend to clarify this again because it was pretty word that he specifically said those ports are all 2.0. I know what the brochure says on every 360hz monitor. I also know that Nvidia never listed any 8khz mouse or in their sense, entry, even long after the 8khz release of Corsair, instead they listed the Sabre as a/the top latency entry on 1khz, as in with 1khz, like all the entries...because reflex does NOT work on 8khz, like _theFiend said. so there was that.
Nvidia Reflex - the feature that reduces input latency on games which are GPU bound, is not tied to other hardware in any way besides it requires a recent enough Nvidia display card.
But note that Nvidia Reflex, and Nvidia Reflex Analyzer are two separate things.

Only if you want to measure the input latency via the "Nvidia Reflex Analyzer ", then you need a -monitor- that has the analyzer hardware built in, and a supported mouse.
These monitors cost more than the same monitors without the analyzer feature.

BUT: you can use the Reflex in supported games without such a monitor.

The mouse&monitor combination is absolutely not needed for the Nvidia Reflex to work in supported games.
You are mixing up two different things here.

But I will say that NVidia is at fault here for causing confusion, its not the first time I see people thinking Reflex requires something else than a nvidia gpu; like said monitors. because they are just marketed as "gaming monitor with nvidia reflex latency analyzer". i've seen many people ask: "do i need that monitor to have reflex working?"

And yes, it's correct reflex requires support from the game engine. because it works as a part of the game engine unlike the traditional input lag reducing methods.

TLDR: I have been using Reflex with the Razer 8khz mouse in Overwatch since it was available.

Are the boards like the Taichi Z590 just simply using a faster speed port and advertising it as dedicated smoother faster gaming ports, or is there some real science and innovation behind it?

e.g.

EDIT: Asrock product page says separate controller USB & PCIe.. it sounds like it's essentially the same as being on separate controller hubs

I saw this mobo ... I'm going to migrate to the intel side, because I think it is a more responsive system (currently I have a 5800x on an asus Tuf x570, with terrible problems with the USB controllers ... I'm going to migrate to a 11900k) ...

anyway, I saw this card and became very interested because of these separate inputs for mouse and keyboard ... in fact, clearly it is just a usb controller just for these two ports ... but does it exist in other ones plates, like an Asus ROG MAXIMUS XIII HERO? (I already ordered a Taichi on newegg, but it still hasn't arrived, I'm in doubt if I return or get a Maximus Hero)

I play Warzone on the controller and I wanted a usb controller just for the controller, to have the most responsive experience possible ... what do you think? Thank you very much.

", you could literally move your cursor 18,000 counts with just 1 inch of mouse movement. While no gamer could realistically play like this,"

erm....what? SS plz.

https://steelseries.com/blog/best-mouse ... ve-pro-117

this makes me again question their rehashed post (for the most part). note 450 50 vs 650 50. the ips exceeds 18k vs 20k, but 50g sure ain't changed. well at least don't consider rog 3370 bumped to 26k at only 99% ( if anyone somehow forgot, 2016's 3389 was 99.4%)

https://steelseries.com/gaming-mice/prime-plus

the Prestige OM sounds pretty nice tho(in case you didn't watch the vid, actuating is blocking the ir signal, because they are still using the same logic as metal plate switch, as in assync bouncing, which I really doubt is the fastest possible mechanically). But calling it that while just using a metal part that exist in pretty much any laundry clamp is a bit much.

As for the lod sensor, still using the handmedown 0.5mm from rival600...."the world’s lowest and most accurate" indeed

Btw it looks suspiciously like an improved/modified Fuhlen OM switch, originally from 2016ish....Yep, the texts(top right pointing at the magnet part) basically confirms it, if it helps rebound, it hinders compression, and the worst thing is they always market it "clicky tactile feel"........when can gaming gear reach basic entry level competence of a none WalMart mountain bike suspension from at least a decade ago.......(ok i take that back, probably it's most safely guaranteed to have seperate compression and rebound dial on most top end stuff, but let's be real here who would even cheap out on stuff as cheap as bikes these days, if they can already afford the time and place to ride anything not cheap... it's like there's no such thing as a flagship mouse either anymore)

The more I looked at it the more I thought the USB ports for M & KB are just separate hubs. I don't know though. Just an assumption. It does look interesting.

gwtest is out. accuracy (circular duh) (again until actual industry insiders come out of their shrines and bless us with knowledge of exactly how to benchmark or even define tracking accuracy......) highest on 16k. well shame some of my igs is already lowest to 1/N and I can't up and go 2/N with 16k it'd be a lot faster than 1/N 20k.. (really kudos for them listening to my stressing circular importance over the time as well as lod nuance and testing relatively everything out) pics for those who don't wanna click link...

again only gpxs normies look at the score ;p, which they again only score for up to 3200dpi, same goes for linear accuracy (that is, I don't really care about linear accuracy as much nor should anyone cus). I already bothered them multiple times to release this including actually this very Monday so they gone do what they gone do. I'll just preach about using max dpi per usual. (credit due, Logi did a remarkable job with the 800-3200 optimization, lol. It's almost like they are staring at lulsettings.com and afraid of Vaxee...)

Also I was right the lod dial was bugged, their test is minimum 1.3-1.4mm, with 1.7mm maxed even when selecting 3mm. (prolly similar situation as when I was doing custom calib--it just barely changed from 1/10 to 10/10 or on vs off vs default etcetc, and really again I don't really care when it is not sub 0.3mm I have had to get used to this optical sensor bs every time I use a new optical mouse so..it gets more sensitive the lower it actually is, like how you care more about winning when you actually are podium material). So I guess when you said I shouldn't want much more lower than a claimed 0.4mm (on the early batch BAU if I remember it right) well it's been almost 2 years, next release I'm hoping is gonna befit the current statement of proactive approaches and rapid development and good enough is not enough.......(until then i'll just keep stacking it up with the 0.6mmish white dots that came with the InfinitySpeed Nimennki and going 2/10 cus it is apparent--when comparing to 1/10 which is still reasonably contained--it seems to do just fine with minimum deviation with my own hand tracking which is most relevant to my own use case and since for the past decade I do more frequent areson tracked validations than literally any other user out there for sure, I CAN speak for everyone that their own testing is also more relevant than any "objective reference machine test" alone. )

Btw they and many MANY kols and 99.9999% players and pros STILL insist that nobody "game on 20k dpi" or above 3200dpi for that matter. Just a fact reminder.

The gpw circular pic on next post cus 3 pic limit. OH and btw for the Nth time, all these score would be a lot LOT higher on hard pad with a finer texture/surface than the qpad cloth/the odd mpc450(also cus I asked them to change to something else) they insist on using as "standard"

gpxs. I would just include another link in the post above, but this is for visibility. very important because some people just wouldn't admit that they bought an inferior product with the gpxs. because there is no reason to use 800-3200dpi when you have 8khz...logi probably knew/figured that for 1khz it's not worth it to optimize beyond 16k anyways, so that "sub micron" claim is STILL a joke. See the thing is, when you have/make/market the thingy called "DPI" like you had for the past 2 decades or something, it better now be a new paradigm to optimize FOR that MAX dpi for a change. Otherwise what is the point except to have "leet geeks" frown on it for eons to a none existing "casual crowd that still chases/buy into bloated dpi on 'trash' sensors (which said "leet hardcore pros" used and use anyways, lol)".......MAD respect to RAZER for doing the right thing, 2 decades past and a lot of backstepping and we are finally here.

Probs should look at the numbers, as the graph doesn't match and is likely misleading. It goes Circular* End Point Deviation, Circular Average Deviation, Circular Max Deviation.

My viper 8khz dont show correctly on mouse rate checker, only show me ~1000hz on 8khz on synapse. what other software can i use to measure it?
