I have the old microsoft intellimouse explorer 3.0 and run it with 8000 hz I still like that raw feel of it.

anyone here who has the ime 3.0 mouse and can recommend this new mouse from razer?.

I like what howeic said earlyer in this thread about the Focus+ sensor compared to 3360 and 3389 sensors.
Just having not to manually overclock all the time is great in it self, also locked to 400 dpi is to low now.

I dont know.. if it is to much like other sensors out there today maybe it is not for me.

no i have not used an ie why should i, you should have known by now I despise its legacy. oh and why are you limiting yourself to 400dpi? and if there's something mojo about any of the old sensors that ie used, why did they make a 3389 version?

so i've tested the xv252 q f MPRT again, this time with max size for max accuracy and averaging black/white w/b, both got 0.2ms(rounded ofc). I think this align with "MPRT is supposed to be smaller than rated GTG" which again is 0.5ms (0.3 on the x25 but whatever, usb fs reflex on monitor is a joke as we all know by now)

with 16 size which sort of match the sample reference pic's pattern size, i got 0.1 and 0.2ms respectively, so rounded to 0.15ms average.

hope it's ok chief as this is very likely still the most suited pairing for viper8k near 2 months after release. R6s is still bug fixing reflex released last month on tts, vulkan only so means probs have to try the 3rd party reg tool to force 390hz cus vulkan as of now won't let me go above 360 even when changing config and set to read only, but with dx12 the monitor says 390 instead of 360 even though in game still pops back to 360, so I trust the monitor's read. and ow just released reflex on test a few days ago with a new nvidia driver to boot, but there's no test server in china servers it seems and I didn't buy a world region account. but at least it already lets me do 390hz with its conveniently 400fps cap....

now there's a sweet triple pic easy to digest, aligning with the rated 390hz and the previously tested MPRT of 0.2ms ish. If there is a better place to post/double post this let me know Chief o7. I've done basically all the available tests and will post a bili vid soon.

The game I play does not seem to be too happy about this high hz mouse, if I move the mouse really fast in circles, then it seems that the data get's queued, the screen actually keeps moving for over a second after I let go of the mouse but it's only at very fast movements, otherwise I really love this mouse

my old ime 3.0 did not do this @8k for some reason but I have to say this mouse is really awesome!! and i'm sticking to it.

im wondering if there is some kinds of tweaks or fixes I could try as this is a old game, and I dont think it will get updated.

EDIT: changing game to windowed fullscreen actually fixed that, I always play at fullscreen becource everyone says its best, but then now I guess I have overall worse input lag problem now, feels abit different

ye i saw that. also some older/smaller games won't let you go fullscreen without some forced commands, like battlerite someone posted on reddit the command long ago. but ye, can't disrespect games from before, good or bad. they are a legacy, especially when newer games usually lack soul in comparison
