I'm getting some trouble with 8k / 4khz recently, it was working on few games but it seems like it doesn't at all curently and i don't really understand what's going on.
I recently reset my panel in regedit, i use to force scaling mode that worked great in some situation but also add some issue with some games...

Since this i can't use anything higher than 1KHZ on Diabotical for example... i'm forcing game to run in FSE mode.

If some of you managed to fix this :geek:

this is a good shape, I'm pretty sure this took note of my recent suggestions to Vaxee or at least great minds think alike, and much previously my liking to the zowie am. and my criticism of deathadder butt. plz incorporate similar methos into the next flagship.

Yeah, @thefiend, would be really nice if you could provide flashback to stock firmware. I don't know what's going on with my mouse, but I either have a defective unit or the two newer firmwares messed something up. I can't test it without the original firmware. Once again, the mouse periodically will just spaz out when not even doing anything. It also happens when moving the mouse as well. It acts as if it loses tracking, even while moving (it'll oscillate rapidly between two moving points, while moving the mouse). You need to move it a certain distance for it to stop, which is much further then normal tracking loss due to a bad pad. It happens randomly even when standing still. Most noticeable when watching a youtube video or any video that hides controls while the mouse isn't receiving input. The amount of fluctuations seems to be random, so it will do small ones that you barely notice to the cursor, but when it's on a video it's easy to see due to controls popping up.

I don't run my mouse at low dpi (8600 here), so if it's something QA missed or isn't prevalent with lower levels of DPI, I'm experiencing it. I know a lot of mice have problems with higher DPI, but this one was initially alright.

Here you go, happened while I was in the bios tweaking things, so even less likely for it to even have anything to do with windows.

I have the same issue, so it’s not your copy, also it seems to happen more on higher dpi from what I can tell, pretty sure I get it on 3200 but don’t think I’ve seen it on 800

so i've assorted this for those who are too lazy to do this themselves or don't care (you should)

note this is likely on a soft/weave pad, as those who didn't bother specifying it probably isn't using a hard/premium one. and he mentioned "parts of the pad scuffing the skate" back when he did zygen so yeah not gonna check every review for keywords

I'd really like to be sent that new shape 8khz any time it's ready Fiend, no joke, as in testing it for ultimate shape vs tech synergy. And I hope Right is still not sorry. Because even with Jesko Absolut, you'd still need the best track and the best fuel in the world, and the best driver. And I AM the most complete gamer there can be in the world.

fyi just a shoutout to all my bros using calib for a decade--your not alone (this is how it's like me being 10/10 lazy btw )
where are these profiles files saved. I would like to keep one that I particularly like, is this possible ?
Probably here for custom calibration data:

Code: Select all

"C:\ProgramData/Razer/Razer Central/Accounts/RZR_number_razer_id_account/Emily3/Devices/number_id_device/Calibrations/PixartCalibrationData.xml"
Example:

Code: Select all

…
<SensorData>
        <Param0>37</Param0>
        <Param1>3</Param1>
      </SensorData>
    </PixartCalibrationData>
  </CustomCalibrationData>
</PixartCalibration>
and here: "SensorCalibration_Pixart.xml" for the current synapse settings

Code: Select all

...
<Mode>SmartTracking</Mode>
  <SmartTracking>
    <IsHysteresis>true</IsHysteresis>
    <TrackingDistance>2</TrackingDistance>
    <LiftOffDistance>2</LiftOffDistance>
    <LandingDistance>1</LandingDistance>
  </SmartTracking>
  <SurfaceTracking>
    <SurfaceDistance>5</SurfaceDistance>
    <LiftOffDistance>9</LiftOffDistance>
    <LandingDistance>4</LandingDistance>
  </SurfaceTracking>
  <LiftOff>3</LiftOff>
</SensorCalibration>

Yeah, I run at 8600 DPI. It's not always the same distance it jumps, sometimes it just vibrates, other times it jumps all over the screen. It's some sort of tracking issue or something. Maybe packetloss?
