Well Im on 460.89 nv driver, win 10 2009 ver 19042.746 + rtx 3080 and this works for me:
Image
This is weird, I have a RTX 3090, I get the exact options like you have in the screenshot on Windows 7 but not on Windows 10 20H2, Which nvidia inspector are you using?
Image
2.3.0.12 from this thread.

But tbh just scroll down :D and you will find exactly what I have

IF I would like to run g-sync only (no-vsync) then I only need to turn on (0x1) the g-sync values on this screenshot?
Image
what about vertical sync?

if u want really low input lag for overwatch try my settings :)

why set refresh rate to ff0? its hidden feature that nvidia missing its called low-Latency REFRESH_RATE_OVERRIDE_LOW_LATENCY_RR_MASK

u can check here https://docs.nvidia.com/gameworks/conte ... gs_8h.html

DISALLOWED is the lowest input lag flip is good to but if u want hit ur shots over smoothing try it

now the real settings that give u snappy mouse movement

MAX_PENDING_CMD_BUFFERS to 0x1 remove the stutters/lag

MCFORCEHOSTSTAGINGBUFFERSIZE this is really fun u can check it over 1000 but recommending not go above 20 set it 0x00000001 for extreme mouse input lagless

enjoy the fastest mouse input in ow :)

one more thing i forgot to say to u make sure low latency is off cause disallowed work best with off
And how does it work with Nvidia Reflex Time? (ENABLED + Boost In call of duty game settings) - Should we also keep it off like in nvcp?
I had my MCFORCEHOSTSTAGINGBUFFERSIZE to x0.000000 default so idk if I should change it

Talking here on win10 ofc
i didnt test so i dont know but try it

MCFORCEHOSTSTAGINGBUFFERSIZE change to 0x80-0x82 for consistent frames and smoothing if u want responsive try 0x1-0x4

i test gsync 360hz v3 limiter vsync on vs off :)

https://imgur.com/a/XnNeloB

0.1 lows a lot better with vsync off and v3 limiter with gsync !

Thank you pox02

I keep MCFORCEHOSTSTAGINGBUFFERSIZE to 0x4 (cuz I heard lowest value is default)
I think response time is better than smoothing, but what did you mean with consistent frames?

If it comes to MAX_PENDING_CMD_BUFFERS I tried to set it to 0x1, 0x2, 0x3 but I get stutters every few or more minutes. I keep it 0x0 cuz idk what value is respectable to make my game smooth

If it comes to g-sync doesn't it add some input lag? When I play COD Warzone on my 1080p 240hz my fps are always bellow 240hz -> Do you suggest to run g-sync then? But I cant find v3 limiter inside my nvidia inspector:
Image

Also, are there any other values you recommend? I tried your no-vsync profile but then my Nvidia filters doesnt work.

Thank you for ur time :)

MCFORCEHOSTSTAGINGBUFFERSIZE lower can cause stutters in games thats why i suggest use high value like 0x80-0x82 to avoid those stutters and get smooth image

max_pending not work for every game some games like it some not

try gsync with vsync off and limiter v3 like this 3 fps below for gsync range

Image

if not work try this

Image

i found new vsync mode ??? but apparently work only on 240hz monitors ??

Code: Select all

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Scheduler
"ForceFlipTrueImmediateMode"=dword:00000001
monitors xg258q aw2518hf 27GK750F-B pg248q xg240r lg w2363d-pf xb270hu XL2546 XL2546K NXG252R

Are you talking about turning on G-Sync on a G-Sync monitor? e.g. On the monitor, and enabled in Nvidia Control Panel, Or are you referring to what's inside of Nvidia Inspector? Also does this work with a G-Sync compatible monitor?

What do you think about something between? is it worth? like 0x20? :) Smoothness at 0x80 is nice but I think for call of duty I prefer more responsivness (hard to say?), but if I want to still keep smothness + have better responsivness what about 0x20? or 0x40?

Not using any other options in NV inspector except all g-sync off + limiter off but this MCFORCEHOSTSTAGINGBUFFERSIZE really works!

try 0x10 0x20 is ok to but 0x10 is combined with extreme low lag and smoothness

Can you also confirm that refresh rate is good to set for ff0 if we will use nvidia reflex? (low latency by itself)
For now I keep it as default due to nvidia reflex ( i think nvidia reflex is better than hidden features in nvidia inspector - I might be wrong tho)

Ah nvm I already noted that you didnt test it.

Anyway I can decide between smoothness vs responsivness... what would you do in Call of Duty Modern Warfare? For multiplayer I think responsivness is better but for warzone = smoothness..

Also I couldnt set framelimiter to 240 fps, I tested every option in frame limiter v3, I think what worked is just this:

Image

is that still better than using RTSS?
