Hey, I did search but wasn't successful... So two questions, and I dont have the latency testing gear to work this out:
1. How much additional latency is incurred when connecting a GPU to an internal thunderbolt card (such as an Asus ThunderboltEX 3-TR card) and then connecting my monitor to a Thunderbolt dock (such as a Dell WD19TB).
TLDR how much additional latency is incurred when going GPU -> DP cable -> Thunderbolt card -> Thunderbolt cable -> WD19TB dock -> DP cable -> Monitor
vs
GPU -> DP cable -> Monitor
2. How much additional latency is incurred when using an eGPU via Thunderbolt but passing the video back to the built in disaply/on-board display outputs.
