I think XHCI hand-off was meant for Windows 8.1 and earlier, correct me if I am wrong. I don't presume to know about it, however it's what has been coming up in a little google searching. Here's a link: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/win ... 20056ae65c
With both my X570 boards there is a connected device to the USB hub which is the RGB controller for the motherboard that cannot be disconnected

But to run MPO we need to run v-sync? it doesnt make sense then...empleat wrote: ↑11 Mar 2021, 18:40Since DX12/Vulkan: devs can choose to not implement FSE (Fullscreen Exclusive mode) into their games, for some reason You can find list of some of these games on internet. Or to find out: change a volume using keyboard media keys (HID service has to be on for media keys to work) and if there is a pop out window, then FSO is on and game is running in Fullscreen Hybrid mode, which is some sort of Windowed Borderless mode!
So you still can try disable FSO in every game, but there is a chance it won't work on DX12/Vulkan.
However luckily on DX12/Vulkan, if you put game to Windowed Borderless mode != Hybrib Fullscreen mode (FSO), there is a chance Windows will activate the MPO overlay, works from NVIDIA 460.09 drivers. No idea: if this works on AMD too. It works great so far. I tried it on Rainbow Six Siege and input lag and smoothness were amazing! There is a concern about tearing, but who cares nowadays with G-Sync. Since who the heck uses V-Sync? Not sure, if V-Sync would work while using MPO overlay! V-Sync triple buffering is better than double buffering BTW (classical V-Sync).
If you don't have G-Sync you can try this: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4916
I always had v-sync off, same with g-sync, also using this settings in nvidia inspector, im n 457.30 cuz it gives me most FPS in cod mw, tested:

No you don't. It is just that they warn of tearing, because there is no longer DWM, which forces V-Sync in windowed modes! Who uses V-Sync anyways? I tested it in Rainbox Sig Siege and it improved input lag, normally you can tell difference easily between FSE and windowed mode by the lag! Works only on DX12/Vulkan, for DX11 and less use FSE with disabled FSO and honor user setting:forii wrote: ↑19 Apr 2021, 20:58But to run MPO we need to run v-sync? it doesnt make sense then...
