Please do this, tell me if you feel the difference. For me it's a lot better, much less prefired and game is smoother.
I want more people to test it to see if it's placebo.

Programs is default...

This controls the Win32PrioritySeparation registry field mentioned by multiple optimization guides, and basically controls the quantum size used by the windows kernel scheduler. Generally a large quantum size can minimize context switches and gives best performance while a small quantum size can help prevent priority inversions. In my opinion, if you have priority inversion then you already have a problem and it's best to solve it rather than relying on the scheduler, so the largest quantum size should always be used.

Can u say something more about your PC specs and ingame settings (resolution, details)?
What CPU are u using? What version of Windows, untouched or modified?
No sense that setting is causing lag, maybe Faceit Anticheat is responsible being background process?

Tried your fix, no difference.
Re: For people with input lag/desync ONLY in csgo (mainly faceit ac)
How can i do this? Any steps?
Re: For people with input lag/desync ONLY in csgo (mainly faceit ac)
I think the better way to do it is to set high priority for Faceit AC in process manager. I retested it couple of times and setting processor scheduling to background services definitely reduces my in-game performance while setting high priority for Facet AC only at worst doing nothing.

It has been seen that setting a game's process to high priority can hinder mouse driver performance. Based on this observation, (not sure what game(s)) you should never raise a game's process priorityJDoe wrote: ↑28 Apr 2021, 01:16I think the better way to do it is to set high priority for Faceit AC in process manager.
