Adsl fastpath gaming

Many people In the world and also in Italy noticed that after switching from ADSL fastpath to vdsl or fiber the performance in online games has deteriorated. my question so is, there anyone who tried to go back to adsl fastpath and can clearly say that there is a clear difference compared to vdsl?

I'm gonna guess it's the nic or router not the internet itself.

gaming is udp not tcp but there are still alot of setting that effect both
