Zaunkoenig M2K - How to properly test its performance ?

Hello everyone,
I've been requested to find the best way to test the new M2K by Zaunkoenig (@8000Hz).
I thought that using MouseTester was ideal.
Could I please be indicated about the proper way to check the stability of this new mouse and its overall performance (stability at high polling rate etc) ?
