hello guys i struggled with the electricity input lag like 5-7 years and i tried new pcs, online, offline ups, surge protectors and all this shit but the input lag always came back!
im playing mainly csgo but sometimes valorant, pubg, apex etc.

today i was in electricity shop and i bought a little pen that checking the electricity voltage it was like 5 dollar cheap so i bought it came home and i checked all my outlets at home.
Im not an electrician but because all this electricity inout lag i have done a lot of research and i knew that “Neutral” have to be 0 voltage and the “Line” must carry voltage like 220,240 depends on your home.
So in my problem my outles almost all of them was wrong like the neutral is carrying the voltage and line is 0 voltage so the current flows through the neutral, U still get electricity but it will give u input lag!
So i just connected the neutral to neutral and line to line! and i have done this to all my outlets at home, u still can change this to your outlet that you using for your computer and i can see the difference but fixing all your outlets it will fix completely.

-After i have done all this i just said wow and i can build muscle memory every thing is smooth u can have enough time to react and actually play normal.
all that windows tweaks and ups and stuff that working good like 1 hour or 1 day its because your neutral and ground carrying voltage and your outlets are reversed and connected wrong so if u fix all your connection in all outlets will fix this.

sry for my english i hope it will work for some people have a good day and GL!

if thats the case, I'll try this fix in the future. getting a new pc and see if that will fix my problem. However, if it doesn't, I'll definitely try this

cya in few days back :D .. Joking good luck bro you are special guy who have problem only in your home
Probably not joking :) but surprised he did not test the pc on another properly wired outlet in 7 years.

If I recall PSU are designed to work regardless of polarity, get an outlet plug tester they are cheap at the department store, it'll help check basic wiring issues (not all though).

Previous he said that modified RFI BIOS settings fixed his problem, he even wrote whole page about that and was dead sure, now he came up with this socket bullshit and wrote same crap again without any clue what he is even talking about. Mr Nicola Tesla going wild

Whether this worked for the member or not it's important to check for properly grounded and wired outlets. Some of the houses out here are 50+ yrs or older and still have knob and tube wiring, and most houses only properly wire the outlets by water fixtures e.g. kitchen sink area, or bathroom outlets, while the rest is 2 wire wiring. It's easier to update the outlets throughout a house vs properly wiring a house. I recommend physically pulling the outlet to see how the wiring is done. My cousin said there''s a way to fool the wiring tester by bouncing a wire from connection to the ground to make the tester report that it's wired properly while, so always physically check the outlet.

Bad wiring can strengthen symptoms, but fixing it doesn't resolve issue. For example in my case replacing/fixing old fuse box made permanent improvement that lasts months already, but no signs of making it perfect (what also appeared to be like fix at first).

man, maybe you are fixed but your devices are still affected, mainly monitor.. Me and few guys have this problem on fixed places too, somewhere less somewhere bigger problem.. We have experiences with sending our setup [mainly monitor] to servises, everything worked fine but with input lag and in service everytime they found out problem, something on MBO was broken, so be sure you are using non affected setup by this problem.

it was before ive fixed the main panel and outlets. the bios modification reduced the input lag for 1 day and came back but for some people with RFI/EMI problems can help a ton maybe your problem its different.
Fixing the fuse box that single phase line wire that connected to fuse box and wired by neutral and line was swapped, ground and neutral bonded together was a problem u will never know this issue unless you test with some equipments. fixing only 1 outlet in your home cant fix the issue because u will affected by others that didnt fixed u need to correct wire for all your outlets like kitchen, rooms, batchrooms etc. u can change your cooler slots and increase decrease your cpu settings all day but this not a fix kid
