Micro stutter on all of my games with vsync off
Re: Micro stutter on all of my games with vsync off
whats SECWIN? i suppose if i use a custom bios on my mobo it will void the warranty...Eonds wrote: ↑31 Aug 2021, 22:37If your bus speed isn't at 100.00 then SB spread spectrum is enabled by default. Try setting it to 100.00. You might have to flash an unlocked bios, or use SCEWIN to change hidden settings.
earlier you mentioned high interferences, what can be the cause of it?
i lived on this house for more than 10 years but this issue has started about a year and half ago.

What you're experiencing is normal vsync off behaviour. If you want to get rid off it you need VRR

Re: Micro stutter on all of my games with vsync off
thx for the reply, i know what tearing is i always had tearing becasue i never used vsync.even now when i cap fps close to my refresh rate i have tearing but the overall animation is smooth but as soon i have a slight diffrence in my fps either going higher or lower than my refresh rate i see a severe frame skipping and when i record my gameplay that frame skipping is visible on the recordings too.ko4 wrote: ↑02 Sep 2021, 19:39What you're experiencing is normal vsync off behaviour. Set your BLCK to 100.000 in bios, and you wont have that issue. There's also other spread spectrum options for other components. On ryzen, i enabled SRIS (Separate Reference clock with Independent Spread)and it fixed a lot of my stuttering/weird lag. I also have the bus clocks SS enabled, but i don't think it's useful unless you have a Christmas tree in your pc case.

SCEWIN is just a program that allows you to access hidden bios settings on your motherboard. You don't usually need to flash an unlocked bios (you should if u tweak as much as i do). Anything that has a motor in it using PWM, any device really lol. I can link a download to the program, it's precompiled already. It's just two clicks and you can modify bios settings then save and you click import and restart your pc and they'll be applied.SamanHit wrote: ↑02 Sep 2021, 15:37whats SECWIN? i suppose if i use a custom bios on my mobo it will void the warranty...Eonds wrote: ↑31 Aug 2021, 22:37If your bus speed isn't at 100.00 then SB spread spectrum is enabled by default. Yup, did that, still 99.95-100.05, mostly below 100. Its better than with Spread Spectrum enabled tho. And BCLK is the only option with Spread Spectrum in my BIOS. Kinda scary to use SCEWIN, I bet with my luck I would brick MB)Eonds wrote: ↑03 Sep 2021, 12:19Set your BLCK to 100.000 in bios, and you wont have that issue.
