Whats the reason for one of my monitors being faster than the other on alt-tabbing, or pressing the windows key? i'm using same nvidia settings on both (display scaling - aspect ratio).
When i alt-tab on my asus vg279qm it is instant, very quick. While my samsung g7 takes an extra second or two?
But while playing csgo they both feel very responsive.
Could this have an affect on input lag in-game?
ALT-TAB/windows key speed
Re: ALT-TAB/windows key speed
Are you playing on different resolutions on both monitors by any chance?
And/or having different native resolutions on both?
But nevermind, i dont think it will have any impact/affect on input lag...

Re: ALT-TAB/windows key speed
Hey
Thanks for the reply.
I am using native on both monitors. Meaning
FHD@280hz on the asus
2k@240 hz on the samsung g7

Re: ALT-TAB/windows key speed
Hmm, think i fixed it.
I activated adaptive sync in the OSD of the ASUS(while it's still disabled in the nvidia settings). And now the Samsung is also alt-tabbing instant... Wierd fix.

Re: ALT-TAB/windows key speed
Can be gpu vs display scaling, as you are using both at same time(or any other random variable) maybe the system is forcing different scaling modes for each monitor even with display scaling option marked from control panel.
Gpu scaling is known to alt tab faster from fullscreen.
