I barely passed 20ms and failed everything else pretty badly. 360hz monitor gsync and everything off 2k hz wireless mouse. The part driving me crazy is how I think I can tell the difference 100 percent. But then I'm wrong lol. I guess it's placebo. It also takes me forever to do each run i can't do it fast.

I don’t need to do this to know I sensitive to lag or not, I’ve tried it in csgo with all my tests and it’s night n day difference

Just got the VG279QM.
Also got a HyperX Pulsefire Surge mouse.
Decided to give this another try. I thought I was getting too old but seems I still got it.
The image is smooth, I did it super fast like in 6m.

hey what monitor settings did u use on your 279qm to do this test man it’s amazing that u can do that with the vg I wanna know what was your settings for that test if u don’t mind

280Hz, OD80, Racing Mode, Shadow Boost 'off', Brightness 50, Contrast 80, VividPixel 0, Color Temp. User Mode R98 G99 B96
At 280Hz it has low input lag but I think that for games it might be better 240Hz because of faster response times and more room for the refresh cycle at 4,16ms instead of 3,57ms.

Oh ok thank you so much man I recently learned that gpu usage affect input lag in games is that true? Yes, 99%+ GPU usage increases render queue latency, typically by around 1-2 frames. You can use Reflex to automatically prevent the GPU from maxing, or a manual FPS limit for the same purpose where Reflex isn't supported.

ok tysm I wanna set a fps limit instead but when I do so what gpu % should I settle with? Could I just capp it until the gpu stay around 90% and still get benefit of fps and everything? Also if I do decid to cap it do I turn of reflex? Or leave it on with the fps cap?

If the cap is reached, you're fine.
