I hope anyone report about the improvement of this utility. I really would like to buy a XL2411Z, but i´m afraid about this bug.

For reports of compatibility with Blur Busters Strobe Utility, we may have to wait for the forthcoming news.

BenQ Taiwan has published a newer Firmware Version V2 for the XL27020Z which could be downloaded here: http://gaming.benq.com/downloads/ Its name is unpacked XL2720ZV2_20131209_2731.BIN but they do not leave a word of how to install it :-( could someone help or do I have to ask BenQ Germany for upgrade it via RMA?

Cool. I've downloaded it now. Seeing that it's in their website, my hopes are high :) . Even if I have to buy a piece of hardware (cool thing to have by itself), it would be somewhat fair.
CPU: Intel Core i7 7700K @ 4.9GHz
GPU: Gainward Phoenix 1080 GLH
RAM: GSkill Ripjaws Z 3866MHz CL19
Motherboard: Gigabyte Gaming M5 Z270
Monitor: Asus PG278QR

I've just realized that I have the v001-20131008 firmware and the Blur Buster Utility will not work. :(

I hope that this is addressed by benq shortly, seeing as how I dropped several hundred dollars more for the bigger, new Z series monitor.

As always, I'm grateful for all the help so far, and I'm crossing my fingers for a fix.

Edit: Just checked BenQ site, it states there is newer firmware for 2720Z.

Is this a good idea to flash? It seems as though BenQ will not warranty any firmware flash mess ups...

Thanks!

Wow looks like there is a nice article on Motion blur on Benq website :)

http://gaming.benq.com/media/news/revie ... rification

And tell us chief, have you contributed to this article :) ?
Please note:
A specific hardware tool and specific software are also needed in order to do the firmware upgrade. If gamers have further queries, please contact your local BenQ service hot line.

For more information on our roadmap and firmware updates, please visit http://www.BenQ.com and Gaming.BenQ.com.
And where we can find this tool?
