Post by regqt » 25 Jun 2014, 18:29

I installed a nice ICC profile. Using standard mode with Blur Reduction with BB utility on 120hz with 1350 tweak. fps_max 120, cant decide what persistence and crosstalk is best for it? would also want to know some settings for CS:GO might be playing it soon since i got a 120 hz monitor now :)

The best Crosstalk setting is usually close to far leftmost setting. The effects (and side effects such as artifacts) are most noticeable during framerate-refreshrate synchronized motion (120fps at 120Hz), with the best motion quality occuring with the VT1350 tweak enabled and the Crosstalk setting to the far left.

The best Persistence setting is usually user preference -- as a tradeoff between brightness versus clarity. It's important to make the screen as bright as possible, since having the screen too dim can affect reaction times. Likewise, having the screen too motion-blurred can affect gameplay if you are sensitive to motion blur. So it's a tradeoff based on the games you play, your play style, and personal preference.
