Hi,i installed the display pilot program to see if i could get higher brightness somehow and i think it messed up something with the blur reduction. I was using blur reduction + vt trick without problems before i installed the display pilot.
I can use blur reduction without the VT trick but when i try to enable the VT trick the screen goes black, tried reinstalling graphics driver and uninstalled the pilot program.
I have the XL2411Z

Re: Problem with blur reduction VT trick
Make sure youre using the toastyx pixel clock patcher for amd/NVidia.
Also, the VT tweaks do not work at 144 hz.
The 1350 and 1502 VT tweaks do work at 100 and 120hz (you need the pixel clock patcher for the 1502 tweak to work).
Also make sure that if you flashed your monitor, that strobe phase/duty aren't somehow set at 100 (that has happened before after a flash). Otherwise you should be fine.

Yes, set that 100 to 003 and then the problem is fixed.
Setting the phase that high causes a black screen. This usually happens after a flash and for some reason the # gets set to 100 improperly.

Re: Problem with blur reduction VT trick
Single strobe is the same thing as "allow customization of blur reduction" in the windows utility (allowing changes in strobe duty/phase).
you MAY be able to change the phase and duty with single strobe set off through the service menu, but making ANY change in the windows utility automatically sets single strobe (allow customization of blur reduction) on.
Also, single strobe allows 60 hz strobing for arcade emulators and 60hz/fps locked games (50 hz (yes, 50) is VERY problematic, timing dependent--some custom timings work, some do NOT and MAY damage the backlight if OSD brightness is set HIGHER than 40, if the strobe fails to work, as strobing sets the backlight on at a much higher power than normal (usually the monitor will power cycle if this happens due to overvoltage but don't risk it).
