Hello,
So i am following the guide with the VT custom resolution trick and it doesn't seem to be working.
I am simply editing my first detailed resolution in CRU with the specified numbers 1920x1080res 120Hz and 2080x1350 total pixels
After i reboot, my screen is running in 1920x1080 in 60Hz. When i go into the monitor properties the refresh rate that i can only change to is also 60hz.
I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong here.

Hi jonske
Your front porch, sync width and polarity values are not matching the ones on the guide....maybe?

Re: VT trick problems
Can you try one of the following:
(1) Set horizontal total to 2040;
or
(2) Testing the Pixel Clock patcher at www.monitortests.com and see if this works?
There are situations where the VT1350 is being rejected because it is beyond maximum dotclock (at least when using a horizontal total of 2080).

Re: VT trick problems
Chief is right.
Your pixel clock is over 330 mhz. Most likely that resolution is being discarded. ToastyX has a pixel clock patcher for AMD and Nvidia cards.
you might first want to run "reset-all' in cru.exe.

Re: VT trick problems
After playing around. I realise it only works for me in 100hz refresh rate.
Is this possibly due to my pretty old graphics card?
