random black screen xl2420z

Hi Ive been getting a random black screen during gaming. I have xl2420z @ 120hz using 1350vt. Its hooked up through DVI-D and using nvidia custom resolution to do the 1350vt. Persistence @ 1.5ms and crosstalk to the far left. When it happens I just restart the screen and its fine. I have a displayport cable on the way to see if that helps. Anyone know whats causing this?
