I just ordered a XL2720Z today and hope to have it soon.
Reading about the Blur Busters Strobe Utility I am a little confused.
Will my actual screen resolution increase from 1920x1080 to 1920x1350 and I have even seen mention of 1500 ?
Could you please explain that to me if it is something else
Looking forward to trying it out.
Thanks
Tom
1920x1350
Re: 1920x1350
No, the resolution will not increase. The vertical total is just a way to increase pixel clock and therefore make the monitor use a very short vertical blanking period. That's all.

Actually -- fixed it for you.RealNC wrote:No, the resolution will not increase. The vertical total is just a way to increase pixel clock and therefore make the monitor use a longer vertical blanking period. That's all.
The scanout is accelerated, to create more time in the blanking interval for letting the pixel GtG transitions complete.
