I've got benq XL2411Z with V1 FIRMWARE so i can't use blur reduction utility to set BBR to be more bright.
So i searched for lightboost (http://www.blurbusters.com/zero-motion-blur/lightboost/)
Lightboost work only on "Supported monitors include ASUS: VG248QE, ASUS VG278H, ASUS VG278HE, BENQ XL2411T, BENQ XL2420T, BENQ XL2420TX, BENQ XL2420TE, BENQ XL2720T"
So i tried to "overclock" (i don't know how to name it correct) my monitor. Im tried do lightboost with the first method (toastyx utility)
don't work (strobelight initalizing display 10minutes and nothing happens) so i decided to do this with the #4 method.
AND IT WORKS O_O
I downloaded the ASUS VG248QE drivers from the "LIGHTBOOST HOWTO" thread, installed them. Rebooted computer, then installed registry change to use ligthboost in 2d without glasses. Then i do all steps from this thread.
My device manager showing to me ASUS VG278(Lightboost EDID Override) when i've got benq xl2411z, its ok.
Then i turned on 3d in nvidia control panel. What happend? It works.
My monitor in menu shows a "3D MODE" and i've got locked options BUT i've got new option (:ooo) called NVIDIA LIGHTBOOST
i can do MAX for bright or LOW for DARKER.
Okey that's work, maybe i should try Strobelight method?
YE THIS WORK FINE TOO.
Now i using lightboost at xl2411z with toastyx strobelight utility, i can adjust the brigthess (ctrl + alt + 0/1/2 etc)
and this is (IMHO) better than BBR cuz (in V1 firmware) i can set the brigthness to brighter (SUPER ENGLISH SKILL YE?)
Picture look brighter when i usin lightboost not the BBR at V1 firmware
.Working on in the games too.
I don't know why i post this thread, but lightboost at xl2411z is better than BBR (in v1) imo.
