Blur Busters Strobe Utility issue

Post by OneEyedLeftist » 28 May 2015, 11:58

It works fine when I'm using just the BENQ monitor, but when I try to use my TV as a second monitor, the utility no longer see the BENQ monitor even though it's obviously there. I'm just guessing it can't be used when using a non-BENQ compatible monitor at the same time?

It works fine when I'm using another DVI monitor with my 2411Z. It's probably something to do with the TV not being able to receive the same kind of signals that are needed to adjust the strobe, so windows might have just disabled communication with all the monitors. (the directx api might be disabled or error out or something like that).

Also, what graphics card are you using?

I think I figured out the problem.. I run my computer 24/7 but turn the monitor off when not in use.

The Blur Busters utility no longer recognizes the monitor after it's been turned off, left off for more than 10 minutes, and turned back on unless I reboot Windows.
