Remember to set the hardware switch on the back of the monitor into classic or Z scaler mode. VT tweaks will not work in Gsync mode, and Gsync mode uses ULMB. Only Z mode (classic) uses Benq blur reduction with the Mstar scaler.

I don't know what firmware version the XL2420G has for Z mode but it may have displayport issues also (they were fixed in V4 for XL2420Z and XL2720Z)

Hello
Wondering if anyone has any experience with BenQ monitors? I want to upgrade to a 27 inch from a 23-inch ASUS monitor. Not sure of the model, but it's two years old and resembles the model with the 3D at the bottom. I don't really have first-hand experience with different display types, but what I'm looking for, is something to hook up my PS4, XB1, and Wii-U, and PC in the future. The first 3 would obviously be HDMI, and the PC, display port, or DVI. Also, looking into an HDMI switch option, or an AV receiver option, and wondering if either one would cause input lag of any type, and whether or not Astros would still work as intended from an optical pass through.
