Does anyone know how ama low compares to the asus vg248qe with his overdrive at 60?

Re: Benq Service+Factory Menus, VT info, AMA Low tweak
Benq with "AMA low" is not as good as VG248QE at all (assuming Lightboost mode), or with VG248QE Lightboost mode (after monitor has warmed up for 1 hour).
Benq XL2420Z, XL2411Z and XL2430T=slightly worse than VG248QE if you set contrast to 25 and use AMA low (slight inverse ghosting).
Benq XL2720Z: a bit more worse than VG248QE if you set contrast to 10-15 and use AMA low (slight NORMAL ghosting).
Note: On XL2720Z, if you use "AMA low" as above, and then change to an S-switch preset profile that has blur reduction DISABLED in the profile, the ghosting is just as good as the VG248QE, although this is for no blur reduction compared to Asus Tracefree=60 (note: disabling blur reduction in the OSD will NOT work for this trick, you have to disable it by switching to a profile preset that way).

Re: Benq Service+Factory Menus, VT info, AMA Low tweak
Hello,
I do have BENQ 27 XL2720Z and I am trying to do this thing with switching profiles, I do have firmware V004 and I am not sure if that doesn't work or I am doing it wrong.
I did save it as Standard with Blur OFF and AMA High for Gamer 1 on a thing
Then I turn on Blur with Ama High on Gamer 2 on a thing (S stick or whatever, the thing with 3 buttons)
After that I set it to blur off from the thing and Blur is turned off, and it looks like on last picture but I do see a little bit brighter light to the left of ufo guy am I doing something wrong?

Re: Benq Service+Factory Menus, VT info, AMA Low tweak
You're supposed to set AMA to "high" with blur reduction on--even though it's already on AMA high. (Either move it from High to Premium/Off then back to high, which takes more presses, or just press "enter" on high then "back" which will "refresh" the setting). This will reduce the AMA level as soon as you do this (the left of the UFO will apppear brighter, yes).uruziel wrote:Hello,

Then if you use S-switch to switch to a profile that has blur reduction disabled already (example: standard Mode with MBR:Off, saved in profile 1, for example), the ghosting will now look even better (near perfect) with blur reduction off (Until you change refresh rates or resolutions).
Unfortunately, there is no extra calibration for blur reduction on. You either have to choose between some "dark" ghosting or "light" ghosting. Only way to do more changes is to use XL2730 or newer Benq monitors and change "OD Gain" in the factory menu.

Re: Benq Service+Factory Menus, VT info, AMA Low tweak
I've XL2411P. Does factory menu have vertical total pixels (VTP) option? I would need to increase VTP to 1350 because I get bad crosstalk at 1920x1080@60Hz on Playstation 3 console.
