BenQ XL2411Z monitor on windows 10
I've tried firefox and chrome but both just tell me 60 fps/60 hz with no 120 anywhere to be seen. I just got this monitor and wanted to really see a comparison but, I dont have any clue what I'm doing. I set the refresh rate to 144hz in nvidia control panel and installed the strobe utility. Is there something else I'm missing?

Windows 10 is wonky.
Try a full screen direct3d game and turn v-sync and then see if the game reports 120hz correctly.
if it does then its a problem with windows 10 and hardware acceleration.

A small and quick program you can test is

(RTHDRIBL demo).
a really old demo but its a quick and easy check. Enable vsync and make sure you change the refresh rate and resolution in the options as I think it defaults to 800x600 windowed.

Hey exeon, I don't know if you have resolved this already however I have just gotten a XL2730Z and noticed that I cannot get Chrome to sync with the monitor refresh rate. However if I run Firefox Fullscreen, it works and correctly picks up 120Hz and syncs. So perhaps give that a shot. I mention this since I am on Windows 10 as well, and previously had the XL2411Z which worked fine in everything other than Opera, IE and Edge.

Cheers!
