Xl2411Z v4 firmware ?!

I just purchased a XL2411Z. It will arrive here in 48 hours.

But you think its the v4 firmware version ? Now in 2016... ?

Also, how to check to see what firmware its using ? Just go into service menu and look at the firmware version ? Should be like V004 ?

Some one told me now, that he bought this monitor two days ago from the same retail shop i bought myself. And the manufacture date was december 2015.

Its ok ? I mean its on v4 firmware ?

The manufacture date is april 2016. Written on the box white sticker.

As far i can see there is no strobe duty, strobe phase and single strobe options.

Its not the common benq service menu. Can u explain ?

If i want to control the strobe i need blur busters utility ?

That's not the service menu.
That's the factory menu (aka "Burn in" menu).
When a monitor is firmware flashed (e.g. with the Mstar ISP device, or with Linux Ubuntu), the burn in menu is usually enabled after a flash. That menu can be disabled by turning Burn-in to Off, then power cycling the monitor. The factory menu is enabled by holding 2 buttons while powering on the monitor (I don't remember which, as its different on the 2411Z than the ones with touch buttons), while the service menu is enabled by holding 1 button when powering on. Note that you can't enable the service or factory menu right after an "AC" power off (unplug); the monitor has to be powered on with AC first, then powered off with the power button, then you can enable the menu.

The 11Z code is in my VT thread. On the XL2720Z and XL2420Z its button #4 while powering on.

The service menu is the one with the strobe settings and the stuff like internet café (which you always want disabled) and HPD stuff.

I assume that strobe duty and phase are the same as ones from the blur buster's utility ?

What does single strobe ?

And whats that tweak with the AMA setting ? I've read something about it but i didn't understood.
