You can use Blur Busters Strobe Utility too as well ( http://www.blurbusters.com/strobe-utility ) which adjusts both without needing to bring up the Service Menu.

Strobe Duty (known as "Persistence" or "Length" too)
-- This is a brightness versus motion clarity tradeoff.

Strobe Phase (known as "Area" or "Crosstalk" too)
-- This adjusts the position of double-image effects.

You want to adjust both while viewing a full-screen motion test such as http://www.testufo.com/crosstalk .... You'll see adjusting Length will make screen darker but motion clearer and vice-versa. Don't use too bright settings, or crosstalk is amplified, but don't use too-dim settings.

Also, strobe phase/area should be adjusted until the middle of the screen is clearest with the most crosstalk at the top/bottom edges.

Single strobe isn't important unless you need to use 60Hz strobing for emulators, etc. (Very flickery but greatly reduces double-image effects for 60fps / 60Hz material)

Also, remember, strobing adds more input lag than not using strobing. If you hate strobe lag, upgrade to BenQ Zowie XL2546 with 240Hz DyAc where the strobe penalty is reduced to only ~2-3ms over non-strobed. That monitor has the most eSports-friendly strobing for competitive use, if you like motion blur reduction.
