I'm looking to make the image a crisp as possible while still maintaining as much of the benefits of the 240hz and DyAc as I can. I've done a fain bit of reading on here but some of it goes over my head.
what should I be looking to do in the setups/hidden menus to make my experience the best it can be.
I also have A Spyder5 color calibrator i'll be using after the tweaking.

If DyAc quality maximization is your priority:
1. If your big priority is less strobe crosstalk, use a lower Hz. Refresh rate headroom below a monitor's max -- allows you to more easily reduce strobe crosstalk. You can keep using 240Hz, then when you play a game that demands better motion clarity, you use a lower refresh rate + improved motion blur reduction quality.
2. There are two main adjustments associated with BenQ/Zowie monitors for adjusting strobe backlights:
Strobe length / pulse width / persistence (may be one of these terms) -- this adjusts the length of blur reducing strobe backlight
Strobe area / phase / crosstalk (may be one of these terms) -- this adjusts the timing of the blur reducing strobe backlight
3. You typically adjust these two settings (either in Factory Menu or Strobe Utility) while viewing a motion test such as http://www.testufo.com/crosstalk
4. Strobe length will brighten the picture but increase motion blur (and slight increase in crosstalk). It's a clarity-versus-brightness tradeoff.
5. Strobe area will adjust the location of the screen where most of the strobe crosstalk is. The ideal adjustment is best quality for screen centre (more crosstalk for top and bottom edges)
6. If you want to reduce strobe crosstalk even further, it's highly recommended to use ToastyX CRU and create a Large Vertical Total. Instructions are in http://www.testufo.com/crosstalk ... The principle is to speed up refresh cycles themselves and increase the amount of pausing between refresh cycles (refresh screen faster). This hides LCD pixel transitions between refresh cycles better, reducing the strobe crosstalk.

That's the typical before/after scenario when using a lower refresh rate + adjustments + large vertical totals.
