Force more sharpness on 2546

Post by MagneticDev » 29 Dec 2018, 07:35

Hi,
I have two monitors, one xl2411z and one xl2546, but it feels like the 2411z is more sharp.
Anyone know if there is a way to force more than 10 the sharpness by using the factory menu?

Question,

Is your problem sharpness, or is it strobe crosstalk?
The higher the Hz, the more strobing reaches limitations of the LCD panel, so one good test is to use a lower Hz, such as the 182 Hz custom timings that are available for the XL2546 via the use of a large vertical total (that puts more time between refresh cycles to finish pixel transitions).

I know,
But I talk about sharpness only.
I think when you set sharpness 10 on the 2411z, it's more crisp.
Do you know if there is a way to force more sharp?

No, there is no way to do so.

In games, you can use ReShade and activate the lumasharpen shader.
