Hey Bud, what are the rest of your specs like to get 141fps for these esports titles?
GTX 1070 + 70% res scale with Low/Medium Settings. From there is all about CPU power. Steady 141fps on Black Ops 4 is pretty easy to achieve. To be honest it is fairly easy on most modern titles with a recent CPU, even at 3,9ghz clock speed. Once you go 240hz territory it is too hard, even for a 9900k 5ghz. And I defo hate to see my CPU being hammered at 90% to 100% usage. Not only this increases input lag but also increase the chances of having fps spikes, wich again, makes your aim worse. Not to mention the fact that having fps jumping from 160 to 240 is awful for muscle memory.

The ideal scenario is 120fps to 141fps cap (depending on VRR etc), with the GPU maxed out at 60% to 70%, CPU 40%-65%. 100% smoothness, no spikes. Low temperatures, Low noise, super stable aim with steady stable framerate.

This is why after owning 5 different 240hz models (and I still have 2 of them), I still prefer 144hz gaming. Maybe in 2025 240hz is a good option.

Thanks for sharing. I'll be building a PC soon with that gpu in mind - I guess the 2060 would be the replacement for that now until nvidia drops something between the current 1060 and the new 2060.
