Hey Guys im glad that i found this forum here...
since 5 Days my XL 2740 has switched to freesync ON and I cant witch if off.
I tryed in nv setting and on the game settings in nv center also.
I think the fsync is bad for my gaming.
Right now i caped to 230fps but would be easylie able to play 240fps+ on my system.
what should i do?
btw: playing apex legends with a pro contract.
Thats my system:
ntel Core i9-9940X
EvGA FTW Ultra Nvidia RTX 2080-Ti
Samsung 970 Pro NVMe PCIe M.2 1TB
G.SKILL F4 DDR4 2933 C14 8x8GB
Monitor: BenQ ZOWIE XL2740 - 69 cm (27 Zoll), LED, 1 ms, AMD FreeSync, 240Hz
If u need any infomations or can give me tips about this fsync problem, i would be very glad.
XL 2740 and FreeSync on Pro Gaming
Re: XL 2740 and FreeSync on Pro Gaming
How do you know fsync is on? If it's because the OSD of the monitor says so doesn't mean fsync is actually used. Enable the gsync indicator in the nvidia panel and see if the g-sync logo appears in-game. If not, then fsync is not actually active.

The another option is edit monitor name (or info) via CRU (https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thre ... tility-CRU), save it and apply so the monitor will become FreeSync incompatible.
