BENQ Issue

Post by mysterion899 » 03 Apr 2020, 22:24

I'm having trouble with the XL2540 my issue is OSD "Information" readout while ingame in CSGO "1280x1024@ 241"
It should normally read "1920x1080 @ 240" with "Display" on inside of the Nvidia Control Panel and under information tab inside the OSD for any resolution used ingame in CSGO.
Btw Nvidia Control Panel reads "Display" and PC 1920x1080
Although when I use "GPU" scale in Nvidia Control Panel, the OSD INGAME reads "1920x1080 @ 240" in CSGO.
Device manger has the latest WHQL driver for the XL2540 series.

What you are describing sounds correct. When you display scale it should show your custom resolution in the information tab.

When you are GPU scaled it will show 1920*1080 no matter what your in-game resolution is.

This is hard to explain... so say I made a 1280*720 resolution for gaming and I wanted it to be display-scaled. The way to check to see if it works is to set my resolution in game and then check the information on the BenQ.

If it says 1280*720 then it's display scaled, if it still says 1920*1080 then it's GPU scaled
