Even with the latest 334.67 beta drivers, I still can't create a custom resolution in Surround :( I'm not sure if I've ever been able to actually.

Can you retry the strobe workaround, this time at 120Hz, with the new test pattern?

I tried it on single monitor but I couldn't tell. My eyes started going buggy after following the UFO's for awhile  lol

Just one short question Mr. Chief Blurbuster:

Im not a really patient person, then it comes to Gadgets.....

Lets say I order the XL2720Z then it is released here in germany (in aprox. one week)

Like you have said (but it is not 100% sure if they implement it in the first fixes) I should be able to see the additional settings in the options of the monitor. So this would mean the firmware is fixed. Otherwise it should be the buggy one. Anyway I should be able to determin it via this flying-ufo-testscreen.

But lets say I habe the old firmware: Can I then sent it to Ben-Q Germany ? Or has the monitor to be shipped via the globe ?

The XL2720Z is now kind of available in Germany some shops have it.
What im wondering is is there any way to know if the monitor has the strobing bug before buying it of course?
Or do all monitors still have this issue and there are no fixed ones?

Just came back from vacations.

I took a chance and I tried to ask BENQ (with Rosey...) for a replacement or if they can ship the kit for the upgrade (no news from Aliexpress since the payment..) and it took about 1 hour of waiting for her answer that I will need to fill a RMA form and that I will need to pay the shipping for a product that they have not passed a respectable quality control .. I don't know why we need to pay for that replacement especially when we paid about 550$ for a ''professional'' monitor and we're getting poor support.. That's not acceptable and unfortunately I would not recommend to anybody to buy from them. Never had any issue with Dell or Asus before..

Update: well after playing 1 hr on bf4 after a week without playing.. I really enjoyed the fluidity and quality of the monitor... I'm just really disappointed by the BENQ support and qa/qc. I will simply wait for the Mstar unit from ali and apply the update by myself.

Hey guys what profile and parameters you're using? We should share that together.

Cheers.
