Dear Blurbusters,
I play warzone but there is nothing what can currently achieve stable 240fps+ so I did use CRU tried to make custom refresh rate based on this website "182hz trick" but I wasnt able to reach any of VT settings which I found here (1500,1584,1600..) they were always out of range, so I am stucked at those settings, and any of ufo etc tests doent look great..
using DyAc premium, AMA high, VT only 1350

Am I doing something wrong?
I cant change Area in Service menu because there is not such an option as on previous model xl2546, should I get somehow into factory settings?
I also made same custom resolution into Radeon software.. game is running at 182hz but in graphic settings is still checked 240, even after change it went back, capped at 220fps, should I lower cap at 182fps?
also I get stucked at 6 bcp color depth, what can brings me back to 8 bpc?
thanks for any help.

Re: XL2546k Vertical totals troubles
This monitor should be using displayport 1.2, so it should be 8 bpc all the way to 599 mhz.
There is some confusion however about High Bit Rate 2 and how far you can go on it.
DP 1.1 (or 1.2 that does NOT support HBR2) will revert to 6 bit color at 360 mhz pixel clock, and max clock is 480 mhz.
1.2 is supposed to go up to 720 mhz at 8bpc and 960mhz at 6bpc.
Yours reverting to 6bpc at such a strange frequency is beyond me. Maybe @ToastyX or chief might know?
There was someone else with a XL2546K who used VT 1600 at 180hz. I think in another thread? I tried that on my XL2746S but it just black screens. Doesn't even give an out of range message. 1550 works sometimes but is unreliable.
Try 180.000hz instead of 182hz
And try VT 1500 instead of 1350.
This should give you exactly 561.60 mhz clock and 270.000 khz.

Where are all your other resolutions?
Why is the extension block completely empty?
Is this an Nvidia or AMD video card?
I don't believe it's supposed to be like that. Unfortunately I can't help with a configuration I have no familiarity with. The range limits show 600 mhz in grey.
Run reset-all.exe and restart.
And don't delete the existing resolutions this time.
Just delete the 1280x1024 one (that should be one of them in the extension block) and try creating the 180hz one in its place.

He said that an out of range error appears, but just press back twice on the S-switch or something and it will go away.
Re: XL2546k Vertical totals troubles

Both monitors are identical, right? There's no logical reason why it works for him but not for you.

yes, that what I would expect.. couldnt be there something else? different factory or service menu setup?
I have actual gpu and monitor drivers, cable is from the box..
could you please bring a little bit more light into your setup?BubbleFishHK wrote: ↑23 Mar 2021, 09:40This is my 1600 vt setting for 199.012hz and 180hz.
the crosswalk test image is using my 180hz setting.
Remember to turn off free-sync before using these setting, otherwise black screen.
There will be a out of sync overlay click back on s-switch twice to remove.
Use Blurbuster strobe utility to tune the crosswalk area.
because I have indentical monitor and I am stuck at VT 1350 - 180hz.
thanks for any help.
