Issue with v2 upgrade [now fixed]

Post by msh100 » 04 Jun 2014, 15:17

I am not entirely sure what's going on here, however I have run the upgrade using the MSTAR ISP tool.

My monitor reports it is on V002-20131209, so I assume it has updated.

When I try to load the blurbusters utility however I get this:

I ran the update a few times. DDC/CI is enabled, AMD CCC detects the display (http://entirely.pro/img/1401912891-PG3l.jpg) and the drivers are installed, I tried another DVI cable, and I am not in service menu mode.

The only issue I can think of is that there was an issue during the update or something on Windows is the problem, when I did the update (from here http://www.blurbusters.com/benq/diy-fir ... q-z-series) at step 11 I got a notice saying "program files not ready" but then it appeared to be fine.

Any help or suggestions would be great! Thank you

If your monitor says V2, the upgrade succeeded.
However, the computer is able to communicate to the monitor over the DDC/CI line.

-- Try to you reboot your monitor: Unplug your monitor and plug it in again.
-- Also, did you exit the monitor's burn-in mode?

Let me know if this works!
