Benq XL2411 Strobe utility work over dvi, dont work over HDMI, will it work over DP to DVI adapter?

Adjusting BENQ Blur Reduction and DyAc (Dynamic Acceleration) including Blur Busters Strobe Utility. Supports most BenQ/Zowie Z-Series monitors (XL2411, XL2420, XL2720, XL2735, XL2540, XL2546)

Yes. strobe worked fine on my old DVI connection, but since my new card dont have dvi, I had to use hdmi and found out that I cant use it. Unsupported monitor/unable to initialize DDC. Since I dont have other choice, Ill have to get an DP to dvi adapter. Will strobe utility work over that thing?

Update: Strobe utility started working over hdmi by itself for some reason, so problem kinda solved...
