Im looking for a link/website like whats described in the title. Maybe something that gives a run down of the latest technology thats been released in the last decade for the audio scene. I know it might be tricky but if that doesnt exist yet then is there some kind of excel spreadsheet of the hardware inside of DACS, speakers headphones ect? There just seems to be so much to grasp when trying to understand the fundamentals.

For headsets, there's www.rtings.com/headphones
As recent tests, they test relatively deep compared to the average site with pretty graphs. No info about DACs though.
I'll let others chime in, as Chief Blur Buster (me) is a deafie.
