I would be wary of any physical product, especially electronics, crowdfunded on Kicskstarter. There are admittedly some success stories and products that backers have enjoyed, but there are also very bad quality or non-existing products resulting from a KS campaign. In 2015 there were a study that showed that less than 10% of the Kickstarter campaigns were considered a failure by more than half of the backers. (That may have changed though, 6 years later). 1/10 may not seem like a lot, but if we consider that backers have 1 chance out of 10 to receive nothing for the money they pledge, that's still a pretty significant issue imo. Even for software like video games, crowdfunding has not really proven itself an effective way to deliver a quality product in the estimated time frame. There are dozens of KS video games in development with no release in sight.
