The TFTCentral ICC profile makes a Huge difference.

Cause u need a Patreon account to download it I uploaded it just now

https://we.tl/t-g6UrAw3zM6

From the downloadpage of tftcentral also the following info:
Preset mode: Racing
Notes incl. Gamma: Gamma 2.4. Gamut wide
Brightness: 20
Contrast: 50
R:100
G:100

( I changed the settings to gamma 2.2 and played with the colors some more. But its a good start.)

Hi all,

I recently bought this monitor and have been using it for 1 week. In general, I'm quite happy with it. However, one feature is very bothersome. The coating on the screen or the screen itself has regularly spaced 'dark spots' covering the entire display, and the effect is almost as if you are looking through a household window screen at what is being rendered. Another way to put it-- it seems as if there is a sticky protective coating that needs to be peeled off, but I don't think there is one.

Has anyone else experienced this problem to a degree which it detracts from the monitor's otherwise excellent display and motion clarity? Does it apply to all of the PG248QP monitors? Is there any way to mitigate this?

When I pan my mouse around in games or while on my desktop, I can see these 'dark spots' over all the lighter color targets. It 1) reduces the clarity of the static image and 2) introduces a visible film that may negatively impact the motion clarity as well due to the 'shifting of the screen door' over the rendered image.

Thank you.

If you're talking about the screen door effect, distance between pixels is more noticeable with this monitor then others. Not exactly sure why, goes away if you move around a bit.

I've also found at different refresh rates it's more prevalent then at others. Monitor definitely has some strange nuances.

Yep, I experienced the exact same thing with lighter color targets. Definitely one of the negatives with this monitor.

I went back and compared it against my xl2566k. I believe that monitor may also exhibit the same problem, but it is less noticeable.

What fps you guys getting in Overwatch at lowest settings 1080p and what videocard. I get 600fps but it dips around 400-450 dps in heavy fights on a 3080ti + 14900k.

You guys need to stop crying about dark spots and this and that. The monitor brings 540hz. Does the 540hz work? Does it give you a competitive advantage? Is it smooth?

Yes? Then monitor is good. You paid all that money for the 540hz, not anything else. Stop crying babies
