Here's a translation of a review, courtesy of PCMonitors: https://forum.pcmonitors.info/topic/sam ... ted-video/

Basically it performs like a mild improvement over the VA G7 before it, it's just 4K with miniLED backlighting to give it much better HDR than previous models.

This guy had a full review of it, but he seem to removed it.

I remember it was a small improvement over G7, basically the same. I even wrote down the panel model he gave: CY-PB315GLHV1H SG3151D04-2 v1.1 Huaxing Optoelectronics.

Kinda insane how well Samsung optimizes these VA panels, it's so unfortunate that they're sticking to the 1000R curve.
If it's anywhere close to G7 speed's (as the reviewers claim), then I don't see any IPS getting anywhere close to those speeds.
Only way a monitor that fast can be decrowned is by QD-OLED that's not curved (27" 4k 240hz QD-OLED with BFI), which won't come out this year from what we've seen.
1080p 500hz TN's, 4k 240hz VA, 175hz desktop OLED's, adjustable strobing monitors such as the XG2431 (IPS!!), what a time to be alive!

The video linked in the post I provided is just a bilibili link of the same review.

There's no reason to dispute the measurements shown, it's pretty much in line with the kind of uplift we're seeing in the rest of the panel industry with the new transistor array designs it stands to reason they could move from QHD 240Hz to 4K 240Hz without many issues.

Interested to see what the power consumption increase was.

referring to them bashing the acer 390hz (giving it lowest score and bad overall tone of view to skew the casual viewerbase even though some parts of the test it scored highest in their own darn test) since it was the earliest to drag down the 360hz price and obviously "interfered with the business" of the other 3 brands, which official accounts ALL appeared at the top comments without any shame. AND this you believe his constant claim and bragging of "we paid for all 4 of these" yadayada? yeah. Not only did he get them all for free, Acer was probably the only one who didn't pay, simply because Acer historically sold lowest average prices.

I'm no fan of 360+ Hz IPS, but I'm also capable of looking past petty commentary from a reviewer.

I don't believe the test results are fake.

that's like saying rtings mouse results aren't fake or uninformed when even to this date rtf is still arging with them on reddit. exactly what is your insinuating anyways. I'm trying to lend a perspective since I speak the language natively and know what the situation is on that site (heavily automated paid reviewing networks everywhere, lack of trustworthy websites and hubs if there were even those to begin with, ever..and brands big and small are swarming in the mainland market exactly because people don't have decades of knowledge about stuff a b c d e . there were no previous culture grounded consumerism into a norm and every day life. it's a gold rush. yes, even past covid times, it still is.) When someone like theWhale claims that his purpose and pride is to help people save money, you know exactly that the truth is the very opposite--because if you were really on the side of the users u wouldn't brag about it, it's a given and a mutual understanding from the start you or anyone else can't hide if or twist it if they tried.
