Is there any information right now on the ULMB 2 Pulse Width adjustment settings? The PG27AQN is defaulting to 100 with more brightness and you can adjust it by increments of 10 down to a value of 10 with the least amount of brightness. Does the motion clarity change much?

Probably best to adjust it to what you think looks best. Each panel is likely different. Do some UFO tests.

Make sure you use very fast speeds like 3000 pixels/sec when testing pulse width differences.

My favorite TestUFO for strobe pulse width experiments is www.testufo.com/map#pps=3000 and then maximize to full screen mode (but make sure you're using VSYNC ON for full screen mode in NVCP)

I like that one because it goes blurry at 1ms MPRT and goes sharp at 0.5ms MPRT, great demo of the need for sub-1ms MPRT.

thanks for this test. tbh I can't see any difference except brightness between changing the pulse width on mine. The strobe time is definitely way shorter coz iphone picks up the strobing at 50% but doesn't see it at all at 100%, yet I still do not notice any ghosting. I'm not that sensitive to ghosting though so maybe it's just me

I like to dim my screen when it's really late at night, but the lowest I could go on the pg27 before this update was still too bright so I returned it.

does ulmb 2 allows you to lower the brightness more than previously on the pg27? for example 0 brightness + auto SDR brightness ON was currently the lowest possible brightness. Can someone test if 0 brightness + auto SDR ON + ULMB 2 on allows you to get a pretty dim screen?

Can anyone confirm if ULMB 2 is available at lower refresh rates besides 360hz?

There's something here:

At least 120hz works. Wonder what the quality is.

sorry for double post

pg27aqn, 1440 pixel per sec, 120hz, hand tracked with iphone:

100 pulse width, iphone auto exposure:

50% pulse width, iphone auto exposure:

these were harder to grab coz AF/AE lock
100% pulse width, iphone low exposure, could only get 1 usable one here:
