I'm going to try some 4K 144/160hz in 32 inches and some other 4K 144hz in 27/28 inches, after that I'll try the Gigabyte M27QX Rev 2 and then an OLED 1440P 240hz, if among those I don't like nothing because of different reasons, I would go back to the Acer XV272UX and I would no longer do screen tests with 2/3 years until better OLEDs come out.
Salut Sirius,

I'd like to reach out regarding this Monitor and your reply implied you may be testing this monitor. From reading this thread, I've gathered that, like me, you are based in Europe and possibly France or Belgium. Hence, your input might be perfect for ppl in this region.

Like 99% of ppl I'm searching for a good monitor at a good price (budget <800€). However I found myself getting into a huge rabbit hole of reviews, forums, reddit posts and videos from the likes of TFTcentral, Hardware unboxed, PCmonitors and Rtings among other mainstream media... It seems you've got a fair bit of experience and surrounded by monitor enthusiasts.

I'm looking for a 27 inch 1440p or 4k resolution. I'm a bit skeptical about 32 inch because I feel they're too big for games (I'll be playing FPS mostly and the occasional RPG/open world). The monitor will also be my daily driver for my work. I work from home, so basically the entire day I'm working.

I figured the M27Q-X or M27u seems to be a good compromise overall (resolution, input lag, response time and KVM but no real power delivery for my laptop). There was also the AGON PRO AG274QZM running under 500 euro with Mini-led and 65w PD & KVM, but not sure how well that one is as I couldn't find in depth reviews. Tho I'm also a bit skeptical as the company doesn't seem to ever push firmware updates for its monitors, or I'm just not finding them). I've considered the Xeneon, but apparently it's too dimm and/or text clarity for work and surfing is really bad.

Anyway, long story short, do you happen to have any update on the gigabyte ?
Merci

Hello Sirius,

As a new user, I cant reply by PM just yet, but yes I'm in France and speak french (I'll keep it in english here so that it doesnt disturb the original thread and other users). I tried replying to the thread but it seems my message didnt go through.

I got a deal on the miniLED Agon Pro AG274QZM from AOC (around 370€ as I bought it excluding VAT).I have yet to test it out, but there isnt much negative nor positive reviews on it on forums nor reddit. And to be honest, I'm not sure how I should go about testing a moinitor properly.
I gotta say, I'm not sure how AOC as a monitor brand is, and I cant find info on whether they do provide support with firmware updates in case there are problems. I'm still debating if I should return it and get the M27Q-X to be honest.
Let me know your input on that one or if you have other suggestions I can look at (I'll keep an eye on my PMs and in here).

Thanks!
